Hotel Florida

We were very disappointed with this Hotel. We arrived just after midnight on a late flight and there was not even any complimentary water or snacks in the room. You would need to purchase this from the bar. The mini fridge was empty, no kettle provided. Asked for an iron and was told they don't provide irons and would need to ask laundry service in the morning and pay a charge which is billed to your room. Nothing to hang your wet clothes on the balcony. Considering the beach is so close you would think they would have a drying rack for wet clothes. The TV was a small 20-22". Bathroom was very small. There were no maps and no tourist information. The taxi to the airport costs you over 40€ (10 min drive) when there is no traffic. Flight was early in the morning and was told they would prepare a cold breakfast packed which we could collect night before. Thought that was kind of them. But, when we went to reception was told there is nothing the person responsible must have forgotten. Wow amazing customer service they forgot!! The gentleman at reception in the morning was kind enough to give us bottled water and orange juice. Breakfast was the only positive about this hotel. The hot tubs we were told only had cold water. Interior decor could do with an upgrade. Rating 1 star and that's for the breakfast only. Very dissatisfied.

This was our base for the beginning of our vacation. They responded quickly via WhatsApp to our inquiries before booking . The room was great for our need (two connected rooms - on for kids, one for us - connecting rooms are at the back ("retro") of the hotel so unfortunately no sea view from balcony for us. Breakfast great, quality of coffee from the coffee machines inconsistent. Minus 1 star for the lobby bar which was pathetic - did not have white wine and the red was almost undrinkable. The location itself (related to Alghero and NW of Sardinia) was great!

Very pleasant stay with friendly, helpful staff. Daily room clean, wonderful breakfast each morning. Swimming pool pristine. Hotel is on the promenade so just cross the road to access the beach. My only gripe is that many tables were reserved for breakfast so that we often ended up in a cramped corner when we could have enjoyed the beautiful vista at an empty 'reserved'" table.

The room was alright, a bit old furniture but it was clean and in great conditions. The mattress and pillows weren't comfortable at all, for me. Mattress very hard and pillows very soft. The breakfast was okay but I wouldn't recommend you to have lunch there, very poor menu and quality. For sure there are a lot of nice restaurants around. Over all it was okay and the staff was nice. Right in front of the beach and with a swimming pool😎
